My Personal Eulogy

Verses on the Death of Andrew Walsh

He was a kind and simple man
All he really had were his hands
If his hard work had paid his dues
He would not have worn out his shoes
If the universe lies on fate
He should be in a decent place
He wishes he had died at home
His fam’ly was his and his alone
If he was judged on heart and soul
His god would only charge him toll
Then again, it is still judgement day
So like the others he must pay
There were a few that called him friend
I hope someday we meet again
He and I are always brothers
There could never be another
He was the first and will be last
He’s the greatest part of my past.

Othello-Assignment 3, Due Wednesday

Idea's will always be more of a threat than jealousy. Idea's cause jealously, idea's caused the collumbine. Idea's are corruptive, ideas will eat away at you until the its the only thing to influence you. Your mind is a dangerous place, don't let it contain you. Love is more powerful, lust is more dangerous, if you haven't experience either you have no emotion. Like Peter explained brilliantly, many people miss construe lust for love. Present day, its hard to tell a difference. It is better to be loved not at all, when you are loved excessively you are typically over protected, and spoiled. And once you enter the world, without all of these things you are lost, and completely exposed. Where as if you had lived a harsher life, and experienced tragedy before, you will be better prepared, and you will know what to do, and how to survive.

Othello-Assignmen 2, Due Wednesday

I believe that othello is more tragic than flowers in the attic, because atleast in flowers in the attic the children prevailed. Three of the four children survived, and grew stronger. In Othello everyone died, there was no silver lining. My favorite character in Othello was Cassio he was the innocent friend who was betrayed by his peers, and people he loved the most. He was the only innocent one. My favorite character in flowers in the attic was christopher. He had complete trust in his mother, i tend to have complete trust in everyone. In Othello i am most like Othello, like i said i tend to trust everyone, and peoples voices tend to have an influence on me. Good or bad, it influences.

Othello-Assignment 1, Due Monday

I have a character who i've known for several years. He has many tragic flaws, which always seem to be his demise. He has an extreme desire to save everyone. He was always a trustworthy and loyal person, and he cared more about what others thought of him, than anything. He was always trying to help everyone and save everyone from anything. He eventually tried to save somone that didn't want saving, he got mixed up in the wrong crowd trying to help his friend. After being exposed to this clique for a long period of time he eventually began changing, and acting more like the people he was trying to help. Now he is unrecognizable, nothing like i once knew him, it was tragic. And you cannot save everyone, especially somone who doesn't want to be saved, you have to help yourself before anyone else can attempt to help you.
